Project SERAPHIM eBook Giveaway

While it wasn’t too long ago since I did one of these, in light of recent world events I’ve decided to host yet another giveaway between March 23rd thru April 1st, 2020 (which is not for another few days, so be sure to set a reminder I will do it for you!). For those who are stuck at home with a lot of extra time on their hands like myself, you may download FREE Kindle eBook copies of the first two books of my sci-fi/dystopian series.

Seraphim ASCENT: First installment of the Project SERAPHIM series. Following an ensemble group of people from various walks of life, somehow connected by an organization of sentient synthetic beings and the tragedies revolving around one woman, who woke up in a morgue with only a toe tag of her name and no memory as to how she got there. Available to download for FREE on Kindle from March 23rd27th.

Seraphim STORM: Second installment of the Project SERAPHIM series. A few years after the events of ASCENT, various survivors have moved on in attempt to pick up the pieces of their lives in shambles. But when the synthetics and a cult begin hunting for a particular man with technology they desire that could affect the way of the world, the sleepers are called to wake again. Available to download for FREE on Kindle from March 27thApril 1st.

In addition, I have arranged a set of playlists for the Project SERAPHIM series to listen to while reading. Music has always been a source of creative inspiration to me ever since I started writing, and with the wonderful thing that is technology I am now able to share that inspiration with the world. Particularly you can listen to the playlists for ASCENT and STORM on Spotify.

As we weather our own storms together, I will take advantage of this time to further work on (finally) preparing the third installment of the series. Thank you for your time and patience and please be sure to eventually leave a review, as it helps indie writers a great deal!

Seraphim STORM is now LIVE!

cover2Seraphim STORM, the sequel to Seraphim ASCENT as well as the second installment to the Project SERAPHIM Series, is officially LIVE!

It’s only been like, what? Two years?

Which is kinda appropriate, I suppose, considering that the immediate timeline for STORM takes place two years prior to the events of ASCENT. I swear I did not intend for this to happen, neither did I mean for such a huge delay in publication!

Although I could make up a whole list of excuses, I am on a time crunch right now with a 3am travel and an early morning flight to catch, but I am proud of this achievement. This is like a huge weight finally lifted off of my shoulders, and I hope it can be enjoyed.

Check out the official page for Seraphim STORM for more information on the storyline and how you can purchase a copy! And if you need any help catching up on the whatnots of the previous novel, I have set up a handy dandy wiki page for convenient information and synopsis (which I am still working on), in addition to character pages (which I am also still working on).

Anyway, it is getting way late and I still have a lot of work (and some packing) to do. Contact me if you have any questions/concerns/ticky box or whatever, and I will do my best to… do my best.

More news to follow!

COVER REVEAL: What the Thunder Said

You read that right: This March, I am coming out with a new installment in the Project SERAPHIM series! With its new shiny cover, I’m shooting for its release to be March 20th, as I work on finalizing a few things with the manuscript.

This is a very exciting moment for me, though. What the Thunder Said will cover events 18 years prior to Seraphim ASCENT, and will feature some new and familiar faces. This is a story I’ve wanted to tell for a long time, as it is a very pivotal one for many of the major characters within the series.

The prequel novel is much shorter than my usual works, but I anticipate that it will be worth your while. 🙂

Crowdfunding Campaign #2

So I just started another crowdfunding campaign for my second book of the PROJECT SERAPHIM series, Seraphim STORM. My last one wasn’t very successful, and it may be partially due to the way Gofundme works in that you’re practically transparent until you’ve hit a certain milestone of donations.

I don’t like begging. It’s my least favorite thing to do. I’d been raised with the mentality that asking for help is a sign of weakness, and admitting that weakness makes you a lesser person. But the way I see it, I’m not begging for handouts. I’m raising awareness of my creative efforts by rewarding people for their generosity with something in return.

In the indie world, I’ve been told that you don’t really start reeling in a profit until you’ve at least hit your third book. I’m almost done with Seraphim STORM, and have a prequel novel lined up as well as other short stories and novellas that I would like to see the light of day sometime in the near future.

No one ever said it was going to be easy, and I had no illusions in my mind that it would be. Despite being a writer, I’m not particularly well-spoken, and I’m only just learning about my new-found confidence in my abilities.

Are there days where I want to just say “fuckit” and throw in the towel? Of course. It’s normal to have those moments of so-called weaknesses. But life is short, and I can’t waste it away with the regret of never following my dreams, doing the thing I love.

That said, if you have any time or money to spare, drop a few dollars into my crowdfunding page. If you don’t cash, then spread the word via Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, or anything in the crazy social media world.

Every little bit helps. 🙂

episodes completeWith the growth of Kindle, I’ve decided to take a page from a fellow author friend’s book (no pun intended) by trying something a little different.

Seraphim Ascent is a big book. Albeit significantly shorter than its previous drafts, I managed to cap it at 150,000 words. On the Kindle, however, I realize that reading larger content books can be a little daunting on both the eyes and spirit.

Seeing that the book has already been split into four “parts”, I’ve taken the initiative and serialized them into “episodes”, since that seems to be what all the cool cats are doing these days.

Don’t worry, the complete version will still be available on both Kindle and Paperback. But for those who want to read smaller chunks at a more discounted price on their handy dandy mobile devices, click on the thumbnails below to purchase the Serial Edition of Book One of the PROJECT SERAPHIM Series. Read Episode One at .99¢ or FREE with Kindle Unlimited!

With just seven more days until the release of my book, I am officially slapping on the website bandaid.

More news will come in the next few days. But for now enjoy a glimpse of the rough, unfinished book cover for SERAPHIM ASCENT.

Also feel free to take a gander at all of the other pages of juicy info that I have to offer. More will inevitably come.
